Constantinos Sfikas mother was Mary Triarhou. Mary and the family Triarhou was honoured in a great ceremony in the Aristotelian University s Auditorium for their contribution to the Jewish Community during the war. The family helped the known family Mallah in many ways including the protection of the property and the wealth of the Mallah family returning everything back to the one and only survivor of the family Nick Mallah. Nick went to fight in the national resistance up to the mountains and coming back was able to take care and offer shelter to dozens of survivors coming back from the campuses. The two families consider each other” family”. Constantinos Sfikas -Triarhou was the first licensed guide who started the Jewish Guided Tour in Thessaloniki. He collaborates with the Jewish Community and the Office for Genealogies for Jewish people having Thessaloniki Jewish origins.
The Jewish history of Thessaloniki, is comprised of various communities; the Romaniote, Ashkenazi and the Sephardim, coming at different times and exercising various influences on the city.
